On this first day of Lent known as Ash Wednesday, the doors to St M’s Parish Church have opened as the Rev. Suze supported by Verger Philly offer a warm welcome on a chilly and damp afternoon to some familiar faces who have chosen to wear some ‘Sorry Ashes’ on their mouse noses.

I Must Have Roses – ALWAYS!

As Homeless Sunday was celebrated one Sunday in January and having given up the word ‘procrastination’ as my only New Years’ Resolution – I was determined to throw open the doors to St M’s Parish Church and having gone to the trouble of creating a feast of tasty goulash in polymer clay for the less fortunate of the parish – I was also determined to put THOSE mice to work that day…
